Hi, my family has 2 Siberian Huskies for about 6 months now. When we got our new little husky she was about 6 weeks old and the older one was 9 months old. They have always gotten along after the little one found out that our older dog was the dominant one. Now our older dog is 1 year and 2 months and the younger one is 5 months. Well yesterday our older dog decided to full out attack the younger one and she keeps doing it. Is this phase going to pass or is there something that my family and I has to do to get it to stop?

11/3/09 If they are both females and they are fighting, it means that one of them, possibly the older one is coming into heat. I have two girls at home that get into fights when either one is in heat. I usually separate them, but the only way I can do it is to stick something in between. If you try to separate them by grabbing one, you may get beaten in the process. You can eliminate the problem if you spay them. Jose
