A Visitor asked the following question on 3/30/2009
We have a 3 yr old male siberian husky that we got about a year ago. He is great with our cat, is great with obedience training (does not always come when you call -- only if he's a mind to; runs off, comes back eventually) but last week he killed one of our chickens (she had flown out of a fenced area). Can he be trained to not mess with, and even guard these sometimes free-ranging chickens?

I don't imagine you'll have much success training your Siberian Husky to ignore chickens, much less guard them. Siberian Huskies have a high prey drive.
Siberians should also never be allowed off leash in an uncontrolled area, regardless of the level of training they have.
