We purchased a "MiniHuskie" from "minihuskies.net". They advertise on this site that they will be 12" to 14" in height and weight less than 16-18 lbs. My wife told them that I was 75 years old with back problems and she wanted a small dog. Also our assoc had a weight limit. Bree May assured her that would be no problem. Well our "little" girl is 20" to the withers and weighs in at 27 lbs. she is 7 months old and still growing. When we contacted her about the size she and her husband said" oh well it happens and refuseto do anything about this.We paid $1775.00 for a dog that we could have purchased locally for $250.00 (no AKC) papers came with her. Ms May sent an email saying this has happened before but does not warn people of the possibility. This seems like a scam to me. Normand & Michelle Lussier email "lussier@comcast.net

3/26/08 Hi, I have seen their web site and yes they are full of it. You may try the BBB. or call the local HS in the area they live in and see what they know about them. Did they provide a contract and if they did what did it say? Cathy

7/28/08 I am very sorry, but you got taken. The standard for a siberian husky in females is 20 to 22 inches. And to pay what you did for no papers, they really got you. This is not a reconized breed what they say, and it seems you probably will have a normal Siberian but I don,t even know if she is a nice one. I would call the better business bureau and in some states their a ways to recover your money. Small claims court and take your dog with you might be a way to recover. I mean what you pay might be paid for a akc registered show dog, not a pet that is not what they said. These are not honest people, but I think a judge would grant you a good portion of your money back. Try Judge Judy on tv and let the world know what these people are. God Bless Shirly Shirly

11/26/08 I'm very sorry to see you got taken by this scam of breeders. I can say the a Siberian Husky is not suppose to be that small. I only breed to the AKC BREED STANDARD...People like this are a SHAME!! Jana
