I have a huskie who is almost a year old. When we first got him he was an inside dog, because we had an apartment. We have recently boughten a house and now have a yard for him to run and play. We have been leaving him outside for a few weeks, but it is growing colder. My question is would my dog have grown acustom to the warmer climate? Should we keep him inside now? Or is he fine in the cold? ( 10 degrees 0

12/10/06 Siberians are considered acclimated for cold temperatures, assuming he's in coat and has appropriate shelter while outside; however, it's difficult to say if he would have adjusted to a cold environment in a few weeks or not. If your dog is an 'inside dog', why not keep him that way where he can continue to be a part of the family? I would let him outside to play and use the bathroom, but bring him back in so that he can interact with people, and not forget his house training. Jessica
