A Visitor asked the following question on 7/12/2006
I was wondering how old the puppy should be before we adopt it. I know it should stay with its mother for a while but not sure how long that should be.

Actually, there are laws involved in some states. As to when a puppy can be sold/adopted. No puppy should leave before 8 weeks of age. We like keep them until they are 9 weeks at least.
