When looking at price of Rhodesians, color has nothing to do with price. All Rhodesians should be some shade of wheaten (the reddish-gold you spoke of). Some are more red while some are lighter in color. Prices on Rhodesians average from "usually" $1200 to $2500 for a VERY well bred, HEALTHY puppy.
Make sure you do your homework and talk to MANY breeders before making a decision that you will have to live with for 12-14 years! That will save you money and more importantly, a LOT of heartache later on. Good luck! If I can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to call or email me!
