I am looking into becoming a Portuguese Water Dog Mom. With so much information on the web, it can get very disorienting. My question is what is the average price of a Portuguese Water Dog puppy? AKC Registered, of course.

It varies. I have seen them as low as $1000. , which are our pups, to as high as $2500. It depends on if you want a pet, or intend to show, who the parents of the pup are, the markings, the hair type, the age, if it is a rescue (which there are very few).

Average price of a good healthy puppy that is AKC registered is between $1800 and $2000. Puppies should be vet checked and CERFed. Go to PWDCA.org for info on the breed.
