A Visitor asked the following question on 12/19/2004
I have a 4m old pom who is already 7lbs and eats only 1/2 c of puppy food. Vet says he's not over weight, books say he's at his max weight. Breeder said his parents were 4-5lbs. Is this normal, am I doing something wrong?

hello no you are not doing nothing wronge some poms just take after there ancesters and it sounds like thats what your baby is doing

A 4 month pom is usually not bigger than 3 pounds.Are you sure he is purebred?That is really a huge pup.
