I have a 8 month old pom and i read in a reply that a pom at a young age might not be fertile. Is this true?

True and false. We don't ever plan on breeding them that young, but I have known of boys who produced at that age. Most do not. I personally do not trust my puppies around girls in heat from 4 months of age on. I, for one, don't want to learn the "hard way" that one is fertile at a younger age!
