I am a new owner of a 2 year old female pom, her menstral cycle started 4 days ago and i would like to know how long do they last?

Heat cycles typically last as long as 18-21 days, with anywhere from day 7-15 being the time frame they could be bred. Most are breedable around days 11-13. But as with every average, there are eceptions. I had one breed on day 3 and another on day 27. You can never be too careful, so if she is in season, protect her the entire time.
