Hello, Dogs of any breed should have their puppies anywhere form 57 to 63 days after breeding. As far as a whelping box goes a box, or dog create works great. It is always nice to have at least a towel in with them to help with the mess. It is also good to start putting your female in the box at night so she can get use to it and feel safe in it. Now when the puppies get here, that is when all the fun begins. I always let them have a couple days to theirselves. Unless you want the dew-claws removed(that has to be done within 1 to 4 days of birth). After the firsts few days you can start to play with them and get them use to people. If you decide to de worm them yourself you should worm at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 weeks of age. If their is anything else I can help with let me know. Deb
