Hi i have a one year old pom and she has already began to heat. She is actually about to get her period anyday now. When is it the best time for to get pregnant? thank you

Breeding should not be done until the third heat cycle. If she is only one year old she is on either her first or second cycle. Wait for the next one because she is still too young. Not to mention the fact that she has probably not had any health testing done and is probably not breeding quality. You should always educate yourself before you breed since so many terrible things can happen and go wrong!
