i have been thinking about getting an OES but do they do okay with little kids?

Yes sheepdogs are good with families, I would not recommend on if you have an infant, as sheepdogs like any puppy demand a lot of attention it would be like having 2 babies.
But for older children they are great. You of course have to teach the puppy and the children respect for each other. It is more work of course but well worth it in the long run.
