A Visitor asked the following question on 4/1/2005
We are purchsing our first Newf pup, we are a little concerned about introducing her to our little guy(border collie X 4 mths old), as he is a little rambuctious. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much, we are so excited and want to be prepared for our new addition.

Your breeder should be the one to advise you.
Many people buy that five hundred dollar newf, and end up with no nothing from the breeder as far as FEEDING TRAINING AND RAISING
and they are NOT There for the lifetime of that pup. they take the money and run.
those of us who do not use the same stud on all our girls
but rather go thru the painfully expensive method of matching properly to offset faults of the two in question are there for the lifetime of that puppy, we send people home educated, and are there for when they experience troubles with the training.
newfs are boisterous thinking dogs and need to be guided correctly.
