My mini schnauzer is just under 6 months old. He has these very hard whiskers (black and very very hard) all throughout his beard that seem painful - feel like needles. What are they? They are all over, not just in one place like whiskers.
Also, he is salt and pepper, but his coat almost looks light brown in places. Could he be a mongrel? His sister was adopted by my sister and she is pure black. Will this brownish color turn gray or is there a problem? I'm not showing him or anything - I'm just curious.
