I recently rescued a young Min PIn. The only problem I am having is she wants to chew things when I get busy. How do I break her of this. She was mistreated as a puppy so I have refrained from scholing her.

Let me start by saying how much I commend you for rescuing a min pin. She sounds like she is starving for your attention. You can scold her without threatening her. When you catch her chewing tell her in a deeper tone "NO", then hand her one of her toys or chew bones and encourage her to chew only on these specific things. It will take a lot of patience and constant remindings but it will pay off and you will have a min pin that behave correctly. Good Luck
