A Visitor asked the following question on 2/14/2005
Our puppy is 14 months old. The whites of her eyes are reddish-pink and sometimes brown. They just don't look healthy to me, and I'm worried. I am aware that this breed may have eye problems.
The vet said she could have allergies. Then he said she definiately has some eye problems, but we can't do anything about them. That worried me!
Also, her eyes don't appear to be clear unless she's in a bright light which doesn't seem to bother her.
Her vision appears to be perfect, but I'm so worried. I couldn't stand for her to lose her sight. She is the light of my life.
She also is scratching a little and seems to have dandruff or something similar.
Suggestions?
