A Visitor asked the following question on 10/1/2007
Does anyone know what to do for an allergic Lhasa? Our girl is now 8 yrs old. She grew into her allergy @ ~6 yrs old and has progressively gotten worse. She constantly scratches legs and ears and chews paw pads.
She was diagnosed with allergies (grasses, weeds, trees, fungi, housedust/mites, Pork, Eggs, Corn). Almost $300 for diagnosis and medicine. You get the picture. A regimen of allergy shots has been going on for ~3 months now. We don't see any real improvement. She gets bathed once per week in hypo-allergenic formula and she stinks the next day! Does anyone have any help to offer?

Get the book by Martin Zucker "The Veterinarians' Guide to Natural Remedies for Dogs"
Start cooking for your dog and remove all kibble, treats, anything processed. It will take some time but it does work.
