It depends on his age and the reason you are walking him. If he is a puppy he should not get forced exercise until he is a year old. He needs to exercise every day and playing in the yard should be enough. If you do not have a yard and are walking him for exercise and to use the bathroom he wiil show you when and how long. Don't wear him out. A puppy is like a little child . He grows the equivalent of one human year each month in the first year. Then he slows down to about 7 human years per dog year. If he is not fat and semms in good shape you are probably doing enough, but check with your vet.
