The puppy I am planning to buy has just been diagnosed with a persistent hyaloid artery. The opthamologist says there is a 30% chance of it developing a cataract within a year. Should I go through and purchase the puppy? It will just be a pet in my home and will not be shown. I still want to buy the puppy but am afraid of any problems he may have in the future. Has anyone experienced this? I am having the hardest time deciding. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
