A Visitor asked the following question on 12/1/2007
My 10 month old chin just went through renal failure. With IV's and medication she pulled through. She is kept indoors at all times except when on a walk and we cannot figure out what happened. The vet isn't much help but has ruled out a heriditary condition. She has always been a picky eater and was on a homemade diet. She won't eat the special diet she is on now. Any suggestions on how to get her to eat? She is the most precious pet I've ever had!

I am sorry for your bad luck! Some chins are verypicky eaters, ask the vet for a homemade diet that fits what she needs. but mostly chins tend to train us and she has trained you very well!
