The (Jack) Russell terrier and the Parson Russell terrier are the two different "variations" of this breed. They are all terriers. The Russells, are the smaller, 10-12" longer than tall dog, the Parsons are more square coupled, 12-15" and are uaually more active. They both come in smooth dense, broken or rough coat. They must be more than 51% white on their body, drop or button ear, 50/50 body depth to leg length, friendly, hunters and fearless little dogs.
