Just wondering how much these dogs shed. My daughter is considering getting one. Glad it gets along well with children (she has none) and oher dogs. As her dog will stay with us and our 8 mo. old Brussells Griffon when she has to travel for work. She works out of her home and is a single person. This sounds like the perfect dog for her because she is always home.

Havanese shed, but the hair is trapped in the coat so it doesn't end up on you and your furniture. They DO need to be brushed, however, or this trapped hair will create serious matts.
