A Visitor asked the following question on 9/23/2007
I have a "rescue" great dane that is so wonderful; I would like to preserve a legacy for me and his mother (given the dog b/c family didn't want full-grown). He is getting at the end of his cycle, 7yrs, but could anyone give me advice? He is a real sweetheart, black with a white chest and paws. I really would love a pup before I lay him down in the next few years.

you can freeze seaman. But if you mate him make sure he can handle the stress of breeding. Also look at him and be truthful to your self "Would his offspring be top quailty. What will you do with the other puppies?
