MY FEMALE DANE WILL BE 10 YRS OLD IN NOVEMBER, SHE HAS BEEN ON RYMIDIL FOR A FEW YRS. IT SEEMS THAT HER BACK LEGS BOTHER HER, NOTHING VERY PROMINENT BUT I CAN TELL. I COULD RUB HER LEGS FOREVER IF IT WAS UP TO HER. SHOULD I WALK HER TO KEEP THE MUSCLES WORKING OR NOT. THANKS DENNIS GRIGSBY 422 GRISWOLD DR LAKE WORTH, FL 33461 561-254-8723

9/6/07 Yes, let her walk as much as "she" wants to. It is a "use it or lose it" time in her life. Give her 2 tablets/dailey of Glucosamine/Chondronitin Complex (same stuff humans take, can be found in drug stores, I get mine at Sams) and Vitamine E, these will help reduce the pain and slow the destruction down.
