Our 8 week old Great dane puppy seems to have a "water" sound in his throat/chest area. Vet thought it might be earlie Kennel cough but has had no coughing, do you have any ideas?

Could be Kennel Cough, could be the begining of distemper, could be something to do with the heart. If you do not "like" your vets diagnosis, get a 2nd oppinion. Puppies get sick just like babies do, you have to start some where and Kennel cough is a likely culpret. If not better by now I would get a 2nd.
