9/25/05 I begin to wean my puppies around 3 weeks. My dams usually tell me it is time when the babies begin to get their teeth. You know for sure it is time when the moms run from the puppies >=). From there I get baby cereal and puppy milk from the store. In a couple weeks I upgrade them to kibble and soak it in hot water until it is really mushy then I mash it up and add baby cereal. You can add baby food chicken,beef,lamb... I also make my puppies canned Yams that I smash up with a little bit of the juice, they really like it. Scrambled or hardboiled eggs every now and then make for a nice treat that is easy to eat as well. Eukanuba makes a puppy food that comes pre-crushed I just use regular kibble. Hope I helped Sarah Sarah

12/7/05 I also ween around 3 to 4 weeks. I make a mixture of ground puppy food, milk, and baby cereal. Then move to the watered down puppy food and lastly seperate the two. Stacey
