When great pyrenees puppies grow up are they going to over take children or some nice if they grow up around kids?

great pyrenees are great with children. I had an aredale and he was awful with my son. so I researched and found the pyrenees. my only suggestion is if you get an adult, know the situation the dog came from. you might not know how children treated the dog in its past.
