i want a g-retriver but not if its going to be a fight with the hairs everyone says they shed real bad constantly?? we have black marble carpets and dk blue furn. please help me make a good dec.or a med. size low shed breed /good with kids.

If your concern is your carpet - get a stuffed dog or a statue one. A golden retriever is DEFINITELY not for you if your concern is fighting the hairs. Even the "non-shedding breeds" shed. There are some hairless breeds that you might want to check but I truly believe if this is your concern then you shouldn't get a dog.
