A Visitor asked the following question on 12/22/2009
I have a pair of GSP brothers, 9 months old, neither is fixed and they are in the middle of a dominance struggle. They are outdoor dogs with about 2 acres of land to roam to burn off all of their extra energy but they continue to brake into bloody battles and have now broke a window on the house during one of these battles. I don’t want to get them fixed unless it is a last ditch effort. I’ve been looking a wire basket muzzles and training collars but muzzles seem inhumane to leave on for extended periods and I’m not around when most of these battles brake out so the training collar won’t work either. Will they grow out of this behavior soon and are there any secrets to keeping these dogs from fighting?
