It depends on what you are looking for. A white dog is just a german shepherd that is lacking pigment. The color is not recognized by akc and can not be shown. I prefere the darker pigment. Some white dogs have higher risk of Blind,def, and has more alergies. I think that if you just like the color and are wanting a pet that is does not matter. I only breed to the german working lines standard and there for would not breed any white german shepherds. But all of them need great homes and they do make good pets. AND THE REAL TRUTH IF ANYONE DOES A LITLE BITE OF RESEARCH WILL FIND THAT WHITES ARENT LACKING IN PIGMENT IN LESS THEY ARE ALBINO I RAISE SOLID WHITE GERMAN SHEPHERDS THAT ARE AKC REG .
