Depends on the dog. Most of my Frenchies have no problem, but I have one male I always have to wipe his bum. Depends on the shape of it. Is it an outtie or an innie. Outtie's no problem, innies you're gonna be wiping. Just my experience.

It also really depends on the quality of the poo. If your Frenchie is on a good diet and absorbing most of it rather than it being waste, the poo will much resemble tootsie rolls and you will have no mess. If the feed is garbage, all it will do is go in one end and out the other in the form of pudding and yes, you will have to wipe it's little butt for it. French Bulldogs try to be very clean about themselves but sometimes their build (broad chest) does not allow them to double over to clean their bottoms like many breeds can. ~Tonda
