My Springer Spanials sleep outdoors in their house. I wonder if they get too cold out there, specially when they get wet. Could you tell me if 40-30 even 20 degrees is too cold. I was told their body heat as they curl up will keep them warm. Is this true?

5/19/07 My opinion 'I would not keep domesticated companions Especially a breed that is vary close and needs closeness to their humans .To emotionally keep them well round in behavior all their life . In the rescue and SPCA's Shelter's most of the dogs are emotionally deprived of human contact or the right type of human contact. Being outside they lack some skills and behaviors they need to integrate with natural living with humans and everyday life experiences. Deborah
