Our 4 month old puppy has been diagnosed with elbow displaysia after breaking his elbow from a minor trauma. Does anyone know how this should be managed going forward? what should be avoided and what is the long term prognosis for him?

Hi,
Sorry ' Not to many Springer's that I have come in contact with has had elbows displaysia .But' this happens to all type of breeds .If this is common in this line of Springer's you should ask questions of this breeder .
Depends on the outcome of the surgery .
Long term depends on you and your vets. opinion.
People should be ready for anything that could happen with their dogs do give them the best Quality of life .Responsiblity depends on you .
