Go to the Dog Shows in your area, meet the breeder, they love to tell you all about there breed of Dog, this is one of the best ways to learn about Dachshunds, you get to meet new people, and from there you can decide what kind of dachshund you want, there are many colors, coat patterns, and hair lenght in this Breed.
