My tweenie male 1 1/2 year old dachshund was treated
for skin infection (staphlococcus) dx by skin scraping and magnification.
That has cleared. He now has black areas on his belly and under his arms, it seems to be getting worse. He has thinning looking hair.
I have seen commenst relating to hypothyroid related acanthosis nigricans. Have you seen this before or is there another cause for the underside turning black? Thank you Becky
