double dapple breeding is when you breed a dapple with another dapple. This is no recommended. This can cause problems such as blindness and other abnormalities in the puppies. You can breed the dapple with any color you like. It depends on what color your dapple is and what color puppy you want. It also depends on what color both parents carry. You can breed a long coat to a smooth coat but if you want a true long coat or a true smooth coat, you need to breed a smooth with a smooth and a long with a long.
