I was looking at daschund puppies online, and one ad said they had some lh and some smooth puppies available, what is lh and smooth? what are the differences? which one is preferred more?

LH is commonly used for long hair and smooth is the other; they are just the coat types of the puppies. "Smooth" is the appropriate term for commonly called, "short hair" doxies. This should explain the difference; long hair versus short hair. Which one is more preferable depends on what you are looking for. Each of the coat types have different personalities, grooming requirements, and shedding amounts. Again, it depends on what you, as a prospective buyer, are looking for. ;)
