I have a Double Dapple, when we got him a year and a half ago, I never knew ANYTHING about these dogs.. I just bought him, because he was "different" and very cute! I have been reading about all the things that can be wrong with these dogs...As far as I know, he is very healthy, he weights 13 lbs. I have taken him to the vet for check ups, up to date on all his shots.. and he seems to be perfect.. no problems.. will be "develop" any problems down the road, or if you are going to have problems with them, are they born with them? He is VERY smart.. Thanks..

I believe if your dog was going to be blind or deaf you would know it by now. Blindness and deafness occurs when the dappling occurs in the eyes or ears.
