I have someone that wants to use our Double Dapple for stud service.. what do you charge?

First make sure the person that wants to use your stud has a health certificate from their vet. Doggy aides is out there. Make sure she is not going to breed your double with another double. The service price should be the value of a puppy, the pick of the litter, or second choice of litter. One way to find your studs value is to try to find a similar puppy on line (a lot of sites show stud and dam that produced litters). It is ususally better to bring the dam to the stud. You may want to ask your friend how much she plans to sell the puppies for. You should receive at least much for the stud service. I would take the cash instead of the puppy, otherwise you will have a father with daughter or son. Most important thing is that the dogs are checked by a vet before any decisions are made.
