We just mated our Blue/Fawn male mini with our red mini. Her father is a red and her mother is a dapple. His parents are both blue. What colors should we expect?

9/5/07 Most likely you will get reds and a possibility of dilute reds (blue nosed). There is always a chance that you could get black/tans as well. Unless your female carries a dilute gene from a grandparent etc, there shouldn't be any blues. Dappling is dominant so there shouldn't be any dapples either, unless one of your dogs has a small spot of dapple somewhere that is not obviously seen. Paula
