How many days or weeks are there between the times that a female mini-dashund goes into heat?

A female will come into heat around 7-8months of age. After that they will come into heat approximately every 6 months. Each dog is unique, however, and their estrus cycle might vary from others. It is best to look for signs of blood or swelling of the vulva to signal when a female is coming into heat. Hope this helps.
