I have a 5 yr old bitch border terrier with a lovely temperent, i am getting a new Daschund red dog puppy, do you experts think i will have problems or will they get on?

You definitly should have one if not both of them altered. Dogs are not picky of size or type. Your border terrier will definitly end up with puppies.
