I have 4 smooth daschunds and shed lots of hair, what is the best way to control this and what type of brush would you use to properly brush their coats and does this need to be done everyday?

I personally have yet to find a shed stopper. I have tried several brands of shampoos, additives for food, etc. The only thing that I recommend is a Kong brush from Petco or Petsmart. The one side looks like a dog and the other side has knobby things on it. It does work really well. Brushing should only have to occur wkly. If your dogs are shedding more than this I would recommend taking them to a vet as there could be a parasite causing them to loose hair.
