A Visitor asked the following question on 3/28/2007
I don't understand why my 3 & 4 yr. old daschunds pee on my tile... When I am home and away at work..... Live in Phoenix, AZ so I hate to put them outside now the whether is getting too hot.... Don't know how to break them and don't know which one is doing this..... HELP!!!!

Is it when you are at home, but away from them? If so, have you ruled out separation anxiety (even at a small amount)? Even if they have their friends, it could be an anxiety for you. This is a start. Or use a crate to retrain them as if they were puppies; even if you are home. In either situation, like you said, it's TOO hot there for them to be outside.
