My 5 month old Dachshund Oscar is very stubborn and I have never had a stubborn dog before and this is my first Dachshund can some of you people help me with traning tips for anything?

Doxies are stubborn but you have to be consistant and firm. To be firm does not mean more than speaking to him in a dissappointed voice or raised voice. Consistancy is the key to training any dog. If you are "wishy-washy" they will never learn exactly what is right and what is wrong.
Always use "happy tone" voice when he does well. Doxies are there to please their master.
He is also only 5 months and at that point with a doxie they are the "boss" or so they think.
