Telling the difference between male and female at birth. How do you? Is the females always way at the bottom just between the legs, and the male just below the ambilical cord?

The sex in puppies will look the same as an adult bitch or dog just smaller. However if the male was born with two undecended testicles he may not show them. However everything else looks the same.
