I have a 6yr old chocolate long hair and I want to breed her she has already had 4 or 5 liters would this be safe to do (we just currently lost one of her pups that was a family pet she was only 2yrs old. and she's very depressed thought if I bred her again it might help her.)she is in very good health.

When a Female Dachshund is 6 years old it's time to get her fixed and start over with a new Female puppy, otherwise your Female might not have anymore puppies or it could be hard on the Dam. and you could lose her. It's up to you.
