My dachshund's back legs are not functioning to well. What's wrong?

Sound like his back is going out, take him to the vet, do not let him jump or run, put him in a small area, pick him up like you would a football, he can get better with rest and the right meds, do some research on dachshund backs, so you know what you are dealing with...good luck with him
