These are not questions you should be asking AFTER a breeding has occurred. It is not appropriate to be allowing a 10 month old dog to breed. Please do your research prior to ever breeding again and bring your bitch to a veterinarian to advise you further on pregnancy and whelping.

AKC acknowledges 7 months old as a mature age for a stud. Mine were a year old before they breed. I should think you will have puppies--usually takes 63 days from breeding if it took.

Yes, you can definatley tell by appearance that they have dropped. You can not tell if productive until after puppies have arrived.
